"नये वर्ष से पहले याद करते हैं पुरानी बाते"

नए वर्ष में होगी अब नई बातें

छूट जाएंगे पीछे 2020 की यादे,

बहुतों ने खोया कुछ ने पाया

ऐसी बर्बादी देख अपना जग भी रोया,

कितनो मजदूरों ने छोड़ा अपना घरबार

खेल अजीब सा था ना 2020 का इस बार,

कोई सोच कर मरे कुछ मरकर भी रोए

इस महामारी में बहुतों ने अपनो को खोए,

करते थे कितने चहिते सबके दिलों में राज

नहीं रहे वे दिग्गज लोग साथ हमारे आज,

कुछ फरिश्तों ने गरीबों तक मदद भी पहुंचाया

इस वर्ष कोरॉना ने कितना हड़कंप सा मचाया,

चिंता का विषय बना रहा शुरू से आखिर तक साल

सबकी उम्मीद है यही कि कैसा होगा 2021 का हाल

आज मध्यरात्रि खुलेगा नए वर्ष का नया दुआर

टिकी है सबकी निगाहें कि कैसा होगा अब नया दौर।।

English Translation:

Now there will be new things in the new year

The memories of 2020 will be left behind,

Many lost some found

Seeing such a waste, we also cried my world,

How many laborers left their homes

The game was strange this time of 2020,

Some died thinking and some even cried

Many lost their lives in this pandemic,
