"Ishq ke race me" romantic Dramatic poetry.
इश्क़ के इस अजीब गरीब रेस मे
कितने मजनू प्रतियोगी बनकर भाग रहे थे।
भाग भाग कर कितनो मजनू
रिस्क इस रेस में ले रहे थे।
कर रहा कोई धक्का मुक्की
कोई टोली बनाकर जा रहे थे।
जिक्र ना किया कोई उस लैला की
जिसके पीछे ये सारे मर रहे थे।
ना जाने इस होड़ में कितने मजनू
उस लैला के बारे में जान रहे थे।
किसी ने फैलाई एक झूठी अफवाह
जिसके पीछे बिन मतलब सब डोल रहे थे।
पहुंच गए जब दौड़ के अंतिम छोर पर
तब सारे लोग अपने सामने ये क्या देख रहे थे।
जिस किसी ने भी लिया था इश्क के इस रेस में हिस्सा
धोखा निराशी का खाकर लोग सारे खाली हाथ अब वापस लौट रहे थे।।
English Translation:
In this strange poor race of love
How many Majnu were running as contestants.
How many majnu ran
Risk was taking in this race.
Doing some push punch
They were going to make a team.
No mention of that Laila
After which all these people were dying.
Do not know how many majnu in this competition
Knowing about that Laila.
Someone spread a false rumor
The ones behind whom everyone was stirring.
Reached when at the end of the race
Then what were all the people seeing in front of him.
Whoever took part in this race of Ishq
People were returning back empty-handed after eating deception.
